Bernie and Beers
A scrappy thing I did back when it seemed like Bernie had a fighting chance. I tried to strike a light-hearted tone without diminishing the cause, and keeping it as home-made seeming as the campaign itself. All filming and editing done by yours truly.
The Pure Joy Experience
This is a video I was commissioned to make by Pure Joy Catering in Santa Barbara, CA. Most of it was shot on location at various wedding destinations, as well as at their headquarters in downtown Santa Barbara. All filming, editing, and storyboarding done by yours truly.
Stanford at Sea:
Part 2 - At Sea
One of six movies I made during the Stanford at Sea program at Stanford University, during which a team of 30 Stanford undergraduates sail a ship from Hawaii to the equator and back. The point of the trip was to do marine biology and oceanographic research, and during the trip we stopped at a few sparsely, if at all, populated islands. This video depicts the final days of a 15 day stretch we spent at sea without seeing land. All filming and editing done by yours truly.
We Came, We Saw, We Conquered
This video was made in 3 days as part of a competition to make a movie to be featured on the Stanford University jumbotron during a basketball game. We didn't win, but it was a sound editing nightmare that I am now pretty proud of. All filming and editing done by yours truly
A hilariously unfinished favor I did for a friend building an app that allows you to build playlists with your friends on the go. Didn't turn out half bad for 4 hours of work! All filming, writing, editing, and storyboarding done by yours truly.
Stanford at Sea:
Part 6 - Christmas Island
Another movie from the Stanford at Sea series, this one featuring Christmas Island, also known as Kiritimati, which actually sounds like "Christmas" in the native language of Kiribas. Kiritimati is part of Kiribati, an island nation with the second lowest GDP in the world. All filming and editing done by yours truly
Stanford at Sea:
Part 4 - Palmyra Atoll
Another movie from the Stanford at Sea series, this one featuring Palmyra Atoll. Palmyra Atoll is a minuscule island 1000 nautical miles south of Hawaii. It was once a navy base during world war two, but now has a standing population of about 8 researchers and is owned by The Nature Conservancy.
The Room Switch
Part of a series of videos I made for the Stanford Solar Decathlons Interaction Design Team, which I was also part of. One of the primary products we designed was the Room Switch, a touch screen switch that controls not just the lights, but all the electronics in a room. All filming, editing, and storyboarding done by yours truly
