THE END OF THE WORLD
Follow the Americas south and you will find a dramatic termination of the landscapes hospitality. The north beckons you back, and cold slate and granite stone slow any progress you might make. The sun will be lost in freezing byways of fog and mist, and when it is not, wind so cold it will freeze your tears will howl through your "windbreaker." This is summertime.
The following photos were taken in Chile, Argentina, and the Falkland Islands, Tierra del Fuego, the southern coast of Patagonia, Cape Horn, and the Straight of Magellan.
