Twelve years ago in Santa Barbara I borrowed my moms film Cannon Rebel and went for a walk by myself through a layer of fog hanging over the Coffin Family trail. That was the moment I started taking photos and I have not stopped since.
Today I work at Emerson Collective as Multimedia Content Manager, producing and curating photography, videos, and articles on education, immigration, food justice, and climate change.
My intention with this photo gallery is not to highlight the photography as an art form, but to share experiences. It is not meant to be a portfolio (although it is a convenient place to house my writing and video work as well). My hope is that these photos give some insight into places and cultures that you might not otherwise have experienced, and maybe allow you to wander the world without leaving your desk.
Please do still wander away from your desk from time to time though.
For prints or to use any of my photos for your own purposes, please contact me using the form here. Thank you so much for visiting and come back again soon.
